CONGRATULATIONS to the Boys 4x400 relay for qualifying for state track finals on Saturday!


Friday’s Exam Schedule – students can come and go during exams. There will be pink sheets in the office to sign in and out. Buses will run at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26. Following is the exam schedule:

Friday, May 26, 2023

             8:00 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.             Period 1 exam

             9:25 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.           Period 3 exam

             10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.         Period 7 exam

             12:05 p.m. – 1:20 p.m.           Period 5 exam

(Students with 5th hour lunch may leave at 12:00 p.m.)


A summer workout program (Warrior StrongHER) will be held for our female students entering grades 8-12 for the 2023-2024 school year. It will begin on 6/5/2023 and run through 7/27/2023 Monday-Thursday from 11:30-12:30. The cost for the entire summer will be $15 to cover the cost of a t-shirt as well as a healthy take home snack after workouts. Cash or checks made out to Wesclin High School with StrongHER in the memo are accepted. If interested, sign-up using the google form link provided, fill out and return a permission slip and money to the office or to the athletic trainer personally, AND have a valid physical on file. Permission slips may be picked up in the office at both the high school and the middle school. If you have any questions feel free to email Taylor Rosecrans at rosecranst@wesclin.org

Cardinals Straight-A tickets can be picked up in the office. Check the 3 lists on the office window to see if you qualify.


Planet Fitness is thrilled to allow high schoolers ages 14 – 19 in the United States & Canada to work out for free all summer long from May 15 through August 31.  Planet Fitness is committed to providing a safe and comfortable place for teens to work out for free all summer long.  Planet Fitness' High School Summer Pass™ offers a solution for teenagers to stay active during the summer when school is out and important academic and extracurricular programs such as sports, gym class, and after-school activities are in recess. Teens can register beginning May 1 and officially gain access to the club on May 15, with registration open during the summer months through August 31. Teens under 18 in the U.S. and under 19 in Canada must register with a parent or guardian online or in-club. Plus, we’re giving away $200,000 to high schools and students! Teens ages 14 – 19 who register for High School Summer Pass can help win a scholarship for their school and participate in a TikTok video contest for a chance to win academic scholarships.

Cleaning B is looking to hire a part-time house cleaner! Responsibilities include working with team to clean all areas of client’s home, bring a positive attitude, and follow safe practices while handling products and equipment. Age requirement is 16 and older with a valid driver’s license and transportation. Alicia Rodgers is looking for a part-time assistant for the summer at her in home group daycare in New Baden. Hours would be Wednesdays & Thursdays 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and some additional days as needed. Must be at least 14 years old. If you are interested please contact me @ 618-978-4679.


June's Pet Resort is looking to hire part-time help at their dog boarding and grooming facility. Shifts are 2 to 3 hours, typically in the evenings or on the weekend. You must be 16 to apply. Contact them at 224-7078 for more information.


Willow Walk Learning Center in Trenton is looking for summer help. Please call Brittany or Amy at 618-224-2300 or come in for an application. Age requirement is 16 or older.


The City of Trenton is looking for a few more lifeguards!  If you are interested, please apply at City Hall as soon as possible.


Ultimate Landscaping is looking for help grass cutting, trimming, etc. Must be 16 years old. Call Scott at 618-623-6322 if interested.
