- Updated Calendar – Attached is an updated school calendar. The changes include:
- Thursday, August 13 – Open House for students returning to in person instruction. It is during this time where you will have the opportunity to meet your teacher, drop off supplies, walk your schedule, etc.. We will be flexible if you have multiple buildings to visit. The schedule is:

- Friday, August 14 – NO SCHOOL
- Monday, August 17 – First Full Day of School
- Self-Screening Symptom Form - Whether you are a student, staff member or a parent, when you enter our school buildings or on our school busses, you must complete this form. It certifies that either yourself or your child is symptom free and temperature free. This MUST be completed every day. There will be no exceptions. Please know that this is an Illinois State Board of Education and Illinois Department of Public Health rule and we MUST comply.
When you attend Open House on Thursday, you will need to have this form completed for anyone who will be entering our building to walk the halls. We will have multiple copies available to take home with you because it will need to be completed every day prior to your child entering our buildings in the morning for school.
- Wesclin Covid-19 Return to School Flow Chart – Attached is the flow chart that we will follow should someone have symptoms, test positive and/or be exposed to Covid-19. Our school nurses will be available beginning on Wednesday to discuss specific health concerns with you. We did hire a second nurse, Jessica Lamm, so you will either talk with Jessica or Rita.
- Class Lists – K-8 class lists will be posted on the school door as well as on the school’s Facebook page on Friday, August 7 by 4:00 pm. This will also verify your selection of in-person half day, in-person full day as well online instruction.
As always, I am here to work with you and answer any questions you might have. I know this year will not look like any other year and there will be many challenges but I know that together we will make it a great year!
