Teacher Appreciation Week

On Monday March 25th, Wesclin’s Student Council kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week to thank teachers for their hard work and dedication they give throughout the year. Teacher Appreciation week is celebrated nationally from May 6th to May 10th; however, Wesclin celebrates it early, so teachers can enjoy the week without the end of the year craziness. On Monday, teachers were able to enjoy fruit. On Tuesday, teachers received a small token of appreciation, hand sanitizer with the saying, “Our students are in good hands with you.” Teachers enjoyed a catered lunch on Wednesday. Students also got to dress like their favorite teacher on Wednesday. On Thursday, Student Council members brought in desserts for the teachers to enjoy, and on Friday they brought in appetizers. When asked about the week, Mrs. Oster, the school Rhetoric and Research teacher, said, “Student Council always does an excellent job of supporting students and faculty at Wesclin. I especially enjoy the ways that STUCO members show their appreciation to their teachers during teacher appreciation week!”
