Written By: Kendra Kelly
From February 19th to 25th, Wesclin celebrated FFA week. Wesclin FFA is a student organization that focuses on agriculture and its impact on the community and country. The students participated in dress-up days throughout the week. The dress-up day schedule started on Tuesday with America day, followed by boots and shorts, throwback rock your crocs, and FFA shirt/Ski day. The week ended the following Monday with camo day. On Friday, or FFA shirt / Ski day, the FFA sold Ski’s during lunch to raise money for Rally for Rae. Not only did the week consist of fundraising and costumes but students were involved each morning with an agriculture trivia question and the organization participated in several activities during their advisory.. The activities included a scavenger hunt, movies, and even a lunch complete with steaks. Senior and Wesclin’s FFA President, Noah Marlar, said“ I would like to thank everybody for participating and donating, making this another successful FFA week this year.”
