Wesclin High School will be conducting semester exams in a block schedule format for the fall semester. I have included the exam schedule and guidelines for the exams. If a senior is exempt from the semester exam, he/she does not have to be in class during the exempted times. Note the order of the semester exams!

Thursday, December 19, 2013
8:10 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Period 1 exam
9:35 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. Period 3 exam
10:55 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. Period 7 exam
12:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Period 5 exam
(students with 5th hour lunch may leave at 12:10 pm)

Lunch will be served for those high school students who do not have a ride home after exams and will ride the bus home at normal dismissal time. Those students who have a ride home will be dismissed at either 12:10 or 1:30 each day depending on which lunch period they have. The lunch period is the only time they can leave school. If your student has a study hall, they must attend study hall unless they are a senior with exemptions.
Senior semester exam exemptions were earned by performing well on the PSAE exam in the spring of 2013. Two exemptions will be given for exceeding standards and one exemption will be given for meeting standards. Exemption cards will be distributed on Monday, December 16, 2013.
Seniors must sign in and out in the office during semester exam days.
Seniors with exemptions must arrange for the exemption two days prior to the exam.
Seniors with exemptions are the only students that may miss class and study hall. They are allowed to miss class during the time of the exempted exam.
Semester exams are to be administered only on the designated date and at the designated time.
