Trenton Elementary and St. Mary's students were treated to an exciting assembly on Monday morning, August 19! Matt Wilhelm, a 3-time X Games BMX Medalist, performed tricks for our students. In between bike tricks, he also delivered a high-quality message about bullying, sticking up for each other, and treating others with respect. Mr. Wilhelm was a semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent" and a $25,000 winner on the show, "30 Seconds to Fame"! He taught two of our students how to do a trick on his bike and for his finale, jumped his bike over Mrs. Barton, Mrs. Boeckman, and Mrs. Woll...twice! Much thanks goes to our PTG and the Callahan Character Education Grant for funding this meaningful assembly to kick our year off right!
