Day 45

 

 

 

  1. Attention all students:  We will once again be able to dress-up on Halloween!  Make sure costumes are school appropriate. You may not bring weapons of any kind--including toy guns, swords, etc.  No fake blood or hairspray or makeup brought to school!

 

For the 6th-8th grade costume contest, the categories for judging are:

♦ Best Individual

♦ Best Group (2-5 people)

♦ Scariest

♦ Most Creative

 

  1. Attention 6th-8th grade students:  Today is Fall Fest beginning at 9:30.

Who will win the most events????  Please wear your class colors:

6th—White, 7th—Orange, 8th—Black

Your ELA teacher has signups for all the day's games/activities.

 

  1. Red Ribbon Week is October 22-26.

Monday 22nd – “Peace Out to Drugs” Wear tie dye clothing

Tuesday 23rd – “Use your Head: Don’t Use Drugs” Wear Hats

Wednesday 24th – “Stay Strong. Say NO to Drugs” Wear camouflage clothing

Thursday 25th – “Team Up Against Drugs” Wear a team jersey or any sports team clothing

Friday 26th – “Red Day” Wear as much RED as possible.  Do not bring hair spray or makeup to school! We will be judging and awarding the 6th, 7th, and 8th grader wearing the most RED!

 

  1. The Honor Society will be sponsoring a Turkey Week beginning Monday, November 5th and ending Friday, November 9th.  We will be collecting cans and money to donate to the Trenton Green Bean Pantry.  We will be collecting canned food goods during 2nd hour and money to be donated to the food pantry ($1.oo will equal 2 cans).  The 2nd hour class in each grade with the most points each day will receive a reward.  The grade with the most cans at the end of the competition will receive a movie.
