College Days & College Visits
College Visitations:
A “Senior College Day” is considered a pre-arranged absence and will be considered excused when students submit signed verification from the college visited to the guidance office within 3 days of their visit. College Day request forms are available in the Guidance Office and must be submitted three school days prior to the date requested. Seniors are allowed two college days per school year and no college days will be granted the last two weeks of either semester.
Many of the colleges and universities sponsor open house visits. Check college websites for open house dates. Columbus Day and Veterans Day are popular open house days.
College Representative Visits: Students planning to meet with a college representative at WHS must sign up in the guidance office at least ONE day in advance. Students must get a pass from Mrs. Fisher to attend the meeting. Students that have not signed up in advance will NOT be permitted to attend.
