County Schools Facility Tax

The school boards of the districts that are part of Clinton County are discussing placing a question on the ballot asking taxpayers to consider a 1% County Schools Facility Tax (commonly known as a sales tax), that shifts funding away from property taxes. The attached powerpoint provides additional information regarding the school facility tax. In the future, we will be holding information meetings.
