2017 Mr. Wesclin

By: Shelby Ambry Wesclin’s mock pageant, Mr. Wesclin, will take place on January 24, starting at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30. The event will consist of 10 students, all participating in swim wear, evening wear, and talent categories to win the title of Mr. Wesclin, along with earning money for a school club or organization of their choice. FFA Receives Donation from Fine Swine

By: Emma Christmann       Wesclin FFA received a generous donation of $650 dollars from David Stidham, the owner of New Baden’s new bbq restaurant, A Fine Swine. David won third place in the Chili Cookoff back in October. Steve and Jay Kehrer from The Kehrer Team were the ones that actually helped donate the money to A Fine Swine for winning the competition.
